Job summary

ALLCPR is seeking an in-person Instructor to teach American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED courses and training, delivering sessions to individuals or groups. The role requires current American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification and strong CPR/AED knowledge, with emphasis on excellent communication and feedback to candidates.

In addition, an Instructor Trainer path may be involved, requiring preparation for sessions, demonstrations, and evaluation to ensure proficiency.

Qualifications

• Current American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED Instructor certification is required.
• Strong knowledge of CPR and AED techniques.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to prepare and deliver effective training sessions.
• Attention to detail and the ability to provide constructive feedback to candidates.

Responsibilities

• Prepare for American Red Cross First Aid/CPR/AED courses.
• Deliver instructor-level trainings to individuals or groups.
• Demonstrate proper CPR/AED techniques that comply with American Red Cross requirements.
• Provide feedback to candidates to help them improve their performance.
• Monitor and evaluate candidate progress to ensure proficiency.
• Complete and submit course records in accordance with American Red Cross requirements.
• Ensure training materials are up-to-date and comply with program requirements.
• Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with CPR and AED training best practices.
• Provide excellent customer service to clients and candidates.
