Job summary

Amtel Repair is seeking a Cell Phone Repair Technician for our Kenner, LA location. You will diagnose and repair mobile devices, tablets, and other electronics while delivering friendly, solution-focused service.

We offer base pay with bonuses, health benefits, PTO, 401k, and growth opportunities. Flexible hours and potential sales-related incentives are available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Face-to-face customer service experience.
• Experience with product service support or troubleshooting electronics.
• Selling accessories, device care and related products.
• Knowledge of mobile devices, operating systems, laptops, gaming systems and other electronics.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google equivalents.
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Sales experience is a big plus.
• Wireless device repair certifications are a plus (e.g., Apple Certified Technicians, CTIA WISE).

Responsibilities

• Engage with and assess customer device needs to deliver outstanding service.
• Resolve customer issues relating to equipment problems by repairing phones, tablets and other electronics.
• Stay up to speed on newly released and upcoming technology in the industry.
