Job summary

Amtel Repair in Conroe, TX is seeking a Cell Phone Repair Technician to diagnose and repair phones, tablets, and other electronics. The role emphasizes strong customer service and ability to explain tech issues clearly.

Average pay is $15–$17 per hour, with base and bonuses. Benefits include health benefits, PTO, 401k, and promotion opportunities. Flexible scheduling is available to cover evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Face-to-face customer service experience.
• Experience with product service support or troubleshooting electronics.
• Selling accessories, device care along with smart watches, headsets and other like products.
• Knowledge of mobile devices, operating systems, laptops, gaming systems, and other electronic devices.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• Strong teamwork and collaboration skills.
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google equivalent.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Sales experience is a big plus.
• Any wireless device repair certifications are a plus (i.e., Apple Certified Technicians, CTIA WISE Certifications).
