Job summary

Epicor Software Corporation is seeking a detail-oriented Quote Management professional to help structure contract details for our ERP software solutions. You will work with sales teams and customers across industries to shape quotes and configurations, impacting customer satisfaction and company success.

You’ll configure quotes in Salesforce CPQ, translate requests into viable quote structures, and guide stakeholders on CPQ capabilities while exploring creative, policy-compliant solutions.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in quoting, pricing, sales support, or a related role.
• Strong attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities, including cross-department communication.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (especially Excel); experience with Salesforce CPQ is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
• Basic understanding of business concepts like discounting and contract terms.
• Positive, collaborative attitude when working with different teams.
• Industry-specific knowledge preferred (e.g., manufacturing, IT services, construction).

Responsibilities

• Configure and structure quotes in Salesforce CPQ, collaborating with sales representatives to understand customer needs while ensuring alignment with internal policies, system capabilities, and company objectives
• Translate sales and marketing requests into viable quote structures, finding creative solutions within system & policy parameters
• Provide consultative guidance on CPQ system capabilities, and present alternative solutions when requests don’t align with company objectives or technical constraints
• Configure specialized quote configurations when possible such as payment ramping, complex discounts, and custom billing schedules as requested by sales teams
• Work with our data quality and IT teams to optimize contract structure & improve quoting & buying experiences
• Shepherd quote through internal teams, from initial request to order review, providing support, guidance, and alternative options to improve sales velocity
• Handle sales inquiries and provide clarifications regarding quotes, including making adjustments based on seller feedback or changes in requirements.
• Contribute ideas to improve our quoting process
