Job summary

Jobtailor in Chicago is seeking a detail-oriented deductions analyst to research and resolve consumer deduction claims for key clients. You will work with UNFI/KeHE-like accounts, communicate with clients and internal sales, gather documentation, and ensure accurate data entry in our trade management platforms.

The ideal candidate has CPG deductions experience, strong Excel skills, excellent written and verbal communication, and the ability to multitask with urgency.

Qualifications

• Prior CPG deductions experience is required.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Strong multitasking with high attention to detail.
• Experience with broker/manufacturer is a plus.
• UNFI and/or KeHE deductions experience is a differentiator.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Research, analyze, document, and resolve deduction claim types per client standards.
• Communicate with clients and sales to resolve deduction inquiries.
• Gather claim documentation and investigate customer deductions.
• Maintain data for follow-up and deduction tracking.
• Process credits to offset resolved deductions.
• Work in web-based trade management systems for contracted customers.
• Provide timely, accurate, and professional customer service.
• Handle incoming calls and emails from internal and external partners.
• Perform other assigned tasks.
