Job summary

Paychex is hiring for a Channel Sales professional in the Salt Lake City area. You will generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach, build relationships with CPAs and clients to drive new logos, and manage a fast-paced sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals.

Ideal candidates have 1 year of relevant sales/marketing experience, the ability to handle high activity, and a drive to meet goals.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma - Required
• Bachelor's Degree - Preferred
• 1 year of experience in relevant sales/marketing role
• Valid Drivers License Required

Responsibilities

• Generate new business through referral partners and outbound outreach
• Build relationships with CPAs and existing clients to drive new logos
• Execute high‑volume daily activity (calls, follow‑ups, and partner touchpoints) to build pipeline
• Sell a full suite of solutions: payroll, HR, benefits, retirement, and compliance
• Manage a fast‑paced sales cycle (1–2 weeks) with small business owners
• Own the full process—from prospecting to closing deals
