Job summary

Randi Rahm Atelier in New York City, a luxury couture fashion house, seeks a Studio/Production Coordinator to manage day-to-day atelier operations, from development to final production, with hands-on involvement in a fast-paced, detail-driven environment.

You will collaborate closely with the designer and studio team across production, client relations, sourcing, social media, PR, and administration, ensuring quality, deadlines, and a polished couture experience.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of professional experience in fashion or garment production.
• Experience in luxury fashion house or couture atelier preferred.
• Strong understanding of garment construction and textiles.
• Experience with production coordination, costing, purchase orders, sourcing, vendor management.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Leadership experience supervising interns or junior staff.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate garments from development through completion, track timelines, maintain sewing hours and costing sheets.
• Work closely with the designer on garment development, including embroidery and beading layouts, and coordinate with outside artisans and vendors.
• Source fabrics, trims, and other materials while maintaining relationships and communications with vendors and suppliers.
• Coordinate fittings, scheduling, communications, and follow-up while maintaining the elevated level of service expected within a luxury couture house.
• Manage day-to-day social media activity and assist with content planning, while coordinating PR collaborations and communications with stylists, media, and other fashion industry contacts.
• Manage sales and purchase orders, production records, vendor information, files, and other essential studio documentation.
• Organize and oversee a team of interns, including schedules, assignments, projects, and day-to-day guidance.
• Maintain an organized, efficient atelier and provide hands-on support across the various functions of the fashion house as needed.
