Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited technical or vocational school in electronics.
• Two years’ experience in repair and maintenance of electronic security systems.
• Knowledge of AC/DC circuitry, pneumatics, and safety standards.
• Ability to read schematics and use diagnostic equipment.

Responsibilities

• Repair electro-mechanical door locks and control panels for jail cells.
• Maintain electronic surveillance equipment and analog/digital components.
• Install/relocate computer workstations, terminals, and printers.
• Troubleshoot computer hardware, audio/visual, and UPS systems.
• Attend training as required and work on-call as needed.
