• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, and the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned buildings, public areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for unusual conditions, reporting concerns to appropriate personnel in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and emergency situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific response protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain required activity logs, incident documentation, and shift communications.

As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a government court services location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide professional customer service to visitors and staff. You will communicate clearly, respond to routine concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s caring, reliable approach.

Pay Rate: $17.75 / Hour

• Mon 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Tue 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Wed 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thur 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Fri 09:00 AM - 06:00 PM
