Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Patrol in Blythe, CA to monitor courthouse access, assist visitors, and deter security incidents while delivering professional customer service.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, legal professionals, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access points and observe activity to deter unauthorised access attempts and report to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents in a calm, professional manner following emergency procedures.
• Conduct unarmed patrols of public areas, offices, parking areas and perimeter to deter unauthorised activity.
• Prepare incident reports and daily activity logs per site procedures.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.75 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, court personnel, legal professionals, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the courthouse location, reporting unusual conditions or unauthorized access attempts to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem solving manner, following established emergency response procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of public areas, offices, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
