• Bagging groceries efficiently while ensuring contents are not damaged, aiming for at least five items per bag.
• Following best practices for bagging in different types of bags.
• Assisting with removing merchandise from baskets during checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Maintaining cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, and all store areas.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and assisting with store layout and product location.
• Conducting price checks and reinforcing safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions.
• Adhering to food safety standards and performing preventive maintenance on equipment.
• Creating a welcoming environment by engaging with customers and answering questions.
• Complying with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts professionally, and acting with honesty and integrity.
