Responsibilities include:

• Bag groceries efficiently at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and bagging at least five items per bag.
• Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
• Assist customers by removing merchandise from shopping carts and helping load bags into their vehicles.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and maintain cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Handle seasonal merchandise and assist with store layout and product location.
• Conduct price checks for cashiers and reinforce safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhere to food safety regulations, perform basic equipment inspections, and report repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by engaging with customers and answering questions about products.
• Follow all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity, respecting customer and business information confidentiality.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed, supporting diverse customer needs including minors, individuals with disabilities, and seniors.
