Create an outstanding customer experience through exceptional service. Establish and maintain a safe and clean environment that encourages our customers to return. Demonstrate the company's core values of respect, honesty, integrity, diversity, inclusion, and safety of others.

Responsibilities

1. Bag groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and striving for at least five items per bag.
2. Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing merchandise from baskets for checkout.
4. Help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform shelf conditioning, inform customers of specials, and return merchandise to shelves.
6. Gather and return shopping carts, clean spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.
7. Handle seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
8. Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions.
9. Adhere to food safety regulations and guidelines.
10. Inspect equipment, perform preventive maintenance, and report repairs.
11. Create a welcoming environment, answer questions, and support customers, including minors, those with special needs, and older adults.
12. Follow all laws, regulations, and company policies.
13. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, manage conflicts, and act with honesty and integrity.
14. Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
