Minimum Position Qualifications:

• Retail Experience is preferred but not necessary

Essential Job Functions:

1. Bag groceries at checkout for customers, striving for at least five items per bag without damage.
2. Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
3. Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
4. Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
5. Perform basic shelf conditioning and restocking.
6. Inform customers of grocery specials and promotions.
7. Return merchandise to store shelves and gather bascarts for return.
8. Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot, and cleaning all areas inside and outside the store.
9. Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
10. Understand the store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
11. Follow safety procedures, identify unsafe conditions, and notify management.
12. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
13. Inspect equipment regularly and report repairs needed.
14. Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions.
15. Comply with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
16. Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment.
17. Manage conflicts reasonably and cooperatively.
18. Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
19. Follow directions and seek help when needed to resolve issues.
20. Support minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults through direct interaction.
21. This position requires the ability to perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.

Salary Range: Minimum $17.5, Maximum $18.9 per hour.
