• Retail Experience is preferred but not necessary

Essential Job Functions:

• Bag groceries at checkout, striving for at least five items per bag while ensuring contents are not damaged.
• Follow best practices for bagging items in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from the bottom of the basket for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of grocery specials.
• Return merchandise to store shelves, gather and return shopping carts, and clean spills, trash, and all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise, understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
• Reinforce safety programs, comply with safety procedures, and report unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspect equipment and notify management of repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment, assist customers with product questions, and support all store operations adhering to laws and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, manage conflicts professionally, and act with honesty and integrity.
• Follow directions, seek assistance when needed, and provide support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform all essential functions with or without reasonable accommodation.
