Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries efficiently while ensuring contents are not damaged.
• Using best practices for various bag types, including reusable, plastic, and paper bags.
• Assisting in removing merchandise from shopping carts at checkout.
• Helping customers load bags into their vehicles when needed.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials.
• Returning merchandise to shelves and managing shopping carts.
• Maintaining cleanliness inside the store and parking lot, including spills and trash.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and understanding store layout for product location and price checks.
• Following safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, and adhering to food safety regulations.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs.
• Creating a welcoming environment for customers and assisting with inquiries about products.
• Complying with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
