Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries efficiently while ensuring contents are not damaged and striving to bag at least five items per bag.
• Following best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, or paper bags.
• Assisting in removing merchandise from baskets at checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers of grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, trash, and maintaining cleanliness inside and outside the store.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and assisting with store layout and product location.
• Conducting price checks for cashiers and adhering to safety and food safety regulations.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment, answering customer questions, and supporting diverse customer needs.
• Following all laws, guidelines, and safety procedures, including conflict management and integrity in handling information.
• Performing essential job functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
