Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries at checkout, ensuring contents are not damaged and using best practices for various bag types.
• Assisting in removing customer's merchandise from baskets for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers of grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts.
• Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot.
• Cleaning all areas inside and outside the store.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and understanding store layout for product location and price checks.
• Reinforcing safety procedures, identifying unsafe conditions, and notifying management.
• Adhering to food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Inspecting equipment and notifying maintenance of repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment, answering customer questions, and providing support to minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Following all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a high-paced environment, managing conflicts, acting with honesty and integrity, following directions, and seeking assistance when needed.
