Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries efficiently at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag while preventing damage.
• Practicing best bagging techniques for various bag types (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their vehicles.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers about grocery specials.
• Maintaining store cleanliness by cleaning spills, collecting trash inside and outside the store, and tidying areas.
• Handling seasonal merchandise and understanding store layout for product location and price checks.
• Reinforcing safety procedures, reporting unsafe conditions, and adhering to all safety and food safety regulations.
• Inspecting equipment and reporting maintenance needs.
• Creating a welcoming environment by engaging with customers and answering product questions.
• Following all relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Working cooperatively in a fast-paced environment, managing conflicts calmly, and acting with honesty and integrity.
