Responsibilities:

• Bag groceries at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag without damage.
• Follow best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assist in removing customer's merchandise from bottom of bascarts for checkout.
• Offer to help customers load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves, gather and return bascarts, and clean spills and trash inside and outside the store.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks.
• Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to food safety regulations.
• Inspect equipment, report repairs needed, and create a welcoming environment for customers.
• Answer questions about products and adhere to all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced environment, manage conflict constructively, and act with honesty and integrity.
• Support and assist customers, including minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
• Perform essential functions with or without reasonable accommodations.
