Responsibilities:

• Bag groceries efficiently at checkout, aiming for at least five items per bag and ensuring contents are undamaged.
• Follow best practices for bagging in reusable, plastic, and paper bags.
• Assist customers by removing merchandise from baskets and helping load bags into their cars.
• Perform basic shelf conditioning and inform customers of specials.
• Return merchandise to shelves and gather shopping carts for return.
• Maintain cleanliness by cleaning spills, trash, and all store areas inside and outside.
• Handle and assemble seasonal merchandise.
• Understand store layout, locate products, and conduct price checks for cashiers.
• Follow safety procedures, report unsafe conditions, and adhere to all food safety regulations.
• Inspect equipment regularly and notify management of repairs needed.
• Create a welcoming environment by assisting customers and answering questions about products.
• Comply with all laws, regulations, and company policies.
• Work cooperatively in a high-paced, sometimes stressful environment, managing conflicts professionally.
• Act with honesty and integrity regarding customer and business information.
• Follow directions and seek assistance when needed to resolve issues.
• Support interactions with minors, individuals with special needs, and older adults.
