Responsibilities include:

• Bagging groceries efficiently while ensuring contents are undamaged, aiming for at least five items per bag.
• Following best practices for bagging in various types of bags (reusable, plastic, paper).
• Assisting in removing merchandise from shopping carts for checkout.
• Offering to help customers load bags into their vehicles.
• Performing basic shelf conditioning and restocking merchandise.
• Informing customers of grocery specials and returning merchandise to shelves.
• Gathering and returning shopping carts to designated areas.
• Cleaning spills, collecting trash inside the store and parking lot, and maintaining store cleanliness.
• Handling and assembling seasonal merchandise.
• Understanding store layout, locating products, and conducting price checks for cashiers.
• Reinforcing safety programs, complying with safety procedures, and reporting unsafe conditions or incidents.
• Adhering to all food safety regulations and guidelines.
• Practicing preventive maintenance on equipment and reporting repairs needed.
• Creating a welcoming environment, answering customer questions about products.
