Essential Job Functions:

1. Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
2. Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to the company's bagging policies.
3. Fill bag racks and unload shopping carts for customers.
4. Assist in keeping shopping carts organized at the front end.
5. Help cashiers check out customers efficiently.
6. Retrieve stray carts from the parking lot.
7. Maintain a neat and clean work station and surrounding areas.
8. Assist in stocking milk and eggs.
9. Help customers locate products.
10. Avoid carrying on conversations with other associates while bagging orders.
11. Understand and explain the ValuCard program.
12. Assist in sweeping and mopping store areas.
13. Keep bathrooms clean and tidy.
14. Maintain litter-free parking lot and shopping cart areas.
15. Work in the parcel pick-up area as directed.
16. Replace misplaced items to their proper locations.
17. Collect trash and bale boxes as needed.
18. Properly use the intercom system.
19. Understand shelf tags for price changes.
20. Stock merchandise as needed.
21. Perform other duties as assigned.
