Job Responsibilities

1. Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
2. Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
3. Fill bag racks and unload shopping carts for customers.
4. Assist in keeping shopping carts in their proper place and the work station neat and clean.
5. Help cashiers in checking out customers efficiently.
6. Retrieve stray carts from the parking lot.
7. Assist in stocking milk, eggs, and other products.
8. Help customers locate products.
9. Maintain professionalism by avoiding conversations with other associates while bagging.
10. Understand and explain the ValuCard program.
11. Assist in store cleaning tasks such as sweeping and mopping.
12. Keep bathrooms and parking lot tidy.
13. Replace misplaced items and collect trash as needed.
14. Use the intercom properly and understand shelf tags for price changes.
15. Stock merchandise and perform other duties as assigned.
