• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Follow the proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
• Fill bag racks and unload shopping carts for customers.
• Assist in keeping shopping carts in their proper place on the front end and retrieve stray carts from the parking lot.
• Help keep work stations, store areas, and bathrooms neat and clean.
• Assist in stocking milk, eggs, and merchandise, and help customers locate products.
• Support cashiers during checkout to ensure efficiency.
• Never carry on conversations with other associates while bagging orders.
• Understand and explain the ValuCard program.
• Assist in sweeping, mopping, and maintaining cleanliness throughout the store.
• Help keep the parking lot and shopping carts litter-free.
• Work in the parcel pick-up area as directed and replace misplaced items to proper locations.
• Collect trash and bale boxes as needed.
• Properly use the intercom system and understand shelf tags for price changes.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
