• Provide efficient and courteous service to customers at all times.
• Follow proper procedures for packaging customer orders and adhere to company policies outlined in the bagging manual.
• Fill bag racks and unload shopping carts for customers.
• Assist in keeping shopping carts in their proper place and maintain a neat work station.
• Help cashiers check out customers efficiently.
• Retrieve stray carts from the parking lot and keep the parking lot litter-free.
• Assist in stocking milk, eggs, and other merchandise; help customers locate products.
• Maintain cleanliness by sweeping, mopping, and keeping bathrooms tidy.
• Assist in the parcel pick-up area and in replacing misplaced items.
• Understand and explain the ValuCard program and shelf tags for price changes.
• Operate the intercom properly and perform other duties as assigned.
