Job summary

Eighth Judicial District Court of Nevada is seeking a Training Specialist to support and implement departmental policies, and to prepare, deliver, evaluate, and maintain training materials and the department's manual.

The role includes coordinating new employee orientation, developing instructional aids, and tracking training data. A minimum education and experience background is required, and some positions may require a Nevada driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Equivalent to an Associate's Degree with major coursework in business or public administration or a related field.
• Three years of full-time office administrative or technical experience related to the work of the unit.

Responsibilities

• Prepares and delivers specialized, pre-service, and continuing education training programs.
• Conducts new employee orientation.
• Assists with administrative support activities such as organizing logistics for training classes.
• Arranges for trainers or conducts training programs when required; informs supervisors and staff of training opportunities; evaluates training effectiveness.
