Job summary

Unified Judicial System in South Dakota is seeking a Training Specialist to develop and deliver training for the Case Management System to clerks of court and court staff. The role provides guidance, user support, and ensures training aligns with system capabilities and procedures.

The position involves daily assistance on procedural issues, collaboration with Business Analysts and IT staff, and ongoing creation of training content. Statewide work with strong benefits is offered.

Qualifications

• High school or GED equivalent; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Three years of work experience in a clerk of courts or court services office; or an equivalent combination of related education and experience.
• Successful completion of a criminal background investigation is required.

Responsibilities

• Develops and provides virtual and in-person training guidance, and user support for CMS functions.
• Gains expertise in circuits' procedures and systems' capabilities to tailor training.
• Responds to user questions and Help Desk requests.
• Develops, maintains, and delivers training plans for CMS changes.
