Job summary

Kootenai County is seeking a knowledgeable Court Services Judicial Manager to help lead, train, and support our in-court judicial staff. You’ll work with court supervisors to develop training programs, coordinate staffing, and ensure accurate, efficient court processes.

This role emphasizes leadership, policy interpretation, and collaboration with judges, attorneys, and public staff, with opportunities for professional growth and public service.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or related field.
• Five years of management experience, including two years in a supervisory role.
• Knowledge of court operations, Idaho Code, and Idaho Court Rules.

Responsibilities

• Develop training programs, materials, and procedures for court staff.
• Coordinate training, coach employees, and support performance improvement.
• Maintain training materials and standardized procedures for in-court staff.
• Manage staff schedules, timesheets, workloads, and deadlines.
• Prepare case files, operate digital recording systems, document proceedings, and manage evidence.
