Job summary

The State Courts System in Tampa seeks an OPS Court Program Specialist II (Full and Part Time) to handle administrative data management and act as court case manager for Problem-Solving Courts programs. You will support PSC cases across criminal, dependency, and juvenile matters.

The role requires coordinating with judges, attorneys, treatment providers, and community agencies, attending hearings, maintaining records, and drafting reports to support court operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED; relevant legal or digital court reporting experience preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in public administration, business administration, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, or closely related field.
• Substitutions: additional relevant experience may substitute for the recommended educational level on a year-for-year basis. A Juris Doctorate degree may substitute for two years of the recommended experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive data and case management support for PSC cases in criminal, dependency, and juvenile divisions.
• Attend court hearings to support the presiding judge and perform assigned case management responsibilities.
• Enter, update, and maintain accurate case information following court requirements.
• Coordinate effectively with judges, attorneys, treatment providers, and other involved parties.
• Prepare reports, maintain spreadsheets and case records, and perform administrative duties to support court operations.
