*Please be advised this is a part-time - (20) hours a week OPS position. There are no benefits or FRS membership with this position.

SUMMARY

This position provides case management support to problem-solving courts, including service referral, coordination, monitoring, and tracking compliance of program participants. Primary responsibilities include reviewing and providing feedback on participant data by assessing the information entered in the electronic database for program monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to local and state policy makers. This position requires a working knowledge of the justice system and problem-solving court policies, procedures, and best practices. The position establishes and maintains close working relationships with court personnel and members of the multi-disciplinary team. Work is performed under the general supervision of the program coordinator.

Primary responsibilities of a Court Program Specialist II include the following: (1) Case Research, Monitoring, and Follow‑up; (2) Court Case Management; (3) Other Duties as Assigned.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Case Research, Monitoring, and Follow‑up

• Review data entered in electronic database to ensure that all state required information is present and accurate
• Produce statistical reports to present to the program coordinator for review

Court Case Management

• Continually monitor and evaluate participant data in the electronic database for program monitoring, evaluation, and reporting to local and tracking participant compliance with program requirements.
• Respond in a timely manner to inquiries from all parties directly related to the electronic database and status of each county’s reports

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

• Bachelor’s degree in public or business administration, criminal justice, psychology, sociology, pre‑law or a closely social science related field. Additional relevant experience may substitute for the recommended educational level on a year-for-year basis.
• Three years of case management experience or experience in problem solving courts. Additional relevant education may substitute for the recommended experience on a year-for-year basis, excluding supervisory experience.
