Job summary

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in criminal justice, human services, psychology, or related field and two years of related court system experience.
• High school diploma/GED with four years of related experience in the court system or paralegal work.

Responsibilities

• Review legal documents of new probation cases and assess offender suitability.
• Interview offenders to gather information on arrests, work history, and family background.
• Develop treatment and sanction recommendations for court-ordered investigations.
• Maintain case files, prepare reports, and coordinate with courts and community agencies.
