Job summary

State of Washington's Administrative Office of the Courts is seeking a Language Access Plan Coordinator (Court Program Analyst) to guide trial courts on language access requirements and strengthen statewide consistency. You will review LAPs, provide technical assistance, and develop guidance materials to advance equitable access to justice.

This role emphasizes collaboration with interpreters, advocates, and court partners, plus training delivery for judges and staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree and 3 years of court administration and/or program development.
Experience with LEP populations and language access laws or policies.
Strong writing, communication, and project-management skills.

Responsibilities

Coordinate with the Language Access Team to deliver services to courts and other teams.
Review Language Access Plans (LAPs) submitted by courts to ensure quality and compliance.
Provide technical assistance on LAPs and interpreter services.
Develop and update guidance materials, templates, FAQs, and training resources.
Deliver training for judges and court staff on LAP development and language access initiatives.
Build relationships with courts, interpreters, advocates, and national partners.
Produce regular program reports and assist with web content and outreach.
