Job summary

United States Courts in Camden, NJ is seeking a full-time Information Technology Technician to support about 535 desktops and 85 mobile devices for 300 court personnel, including Judges. The role includes end-user support, imaging, and onboarding, with travel to Trenton weekly.

Qualifications

• Requires a HS diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree is preferred.
• One year of progressive technical responsibilities related to IT subject matter.
• CL 25–CL 26 requires at least one year; CL 27 requires three years of specialized experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide end-user support and training; respond to help desk requests via phone, email or in person.
• Install, repair and configure hardware and software; perform desktop imaging and onboarding of new users.
• Assist with network administration tasks and maintain IT inventory records.
• Setup and support AV and courtroom technology, including video conferencing and streaming equipment.
• Document issues and solutions; follow IT security policies and procedures.
• Travel to Trenton and other divisional offices as needed for coverage.
