Job summary

Manatee County Clerk of Circuit Court & Comptroller is seeking a non-supervisory Court Input Clerk to join the Court Input division. This full-time position handles intake and input for arrestable offenses in Manatee County, reporting to the Supervisor of Court Input.

Responsibilities include accurate data entry in the case management system, maintaining confidential records, issuing notices and subpoenas as required, and ensuring reliable attendance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• One year of recent and relevant experience demonstrating acute attention to detail in data maintenance.
• Basic mathematical aptitude and filing skills are required.
• Computer literacy includes proficiency in the Microsoft Windows suite.

Responsibilities

• Provides excellent customer service in person, by email and over the phone; approachable and patient.
• Initiates and maintains a complete and accurate record using the case management system and division procedures; maintains confidentiality.
• Prepares and issues case-related notices, summonses, subpoenas, writs and warrants as required.
• Participates in division cross-training to support efficient division operations.
