Job summary

Manatee County Clerk of the Circuit Court & Comptroller is seeking a full-time, non-supervisory Circuit Criminal Clerk I to manage court files for arrestable offenses in Manatee County. The role requires a high school diploma or GED, and at least one year of data maintenance experience, plus basic math and filing skills.

Qualifications

High School diploma or GED required.
At least one year of recent, relevant data maintenance experience.
Basic mathematical aptitude and alpha/numeric filing skills.
Computer literacy including Microsoft Windows.
Deputization may be required after qualification.

Responsibilities

Initiate and maintain complete and accurate records using the case management system.
Prepare cases/dockets for court within required deadlines using case management software.
Prepare and issue notices, summons, subpoenas, writs, and/or warrants as required.
Participates in division cross training initiatives to acquire knowledge and skill sets to support efficient functioning of the assigned division work.
Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of this job.
