Job summary

Prisma International, Inc. seeks experienced court interpreters to provide onsite interpreting services to the New Hampshire Judicial Branch.

Independent contractor role based in New Hampshire. Requirements include NH court certification/registration, annual background checks, and at least one year of court interpreting experience; fluency in English and your native language; ATA certification or higher education credential preferred.

Qualifications

• Cour t-certified or court-registered in New Hampshire
• Annual background checks required
• Strong NHJB procedures knowledge and accurate session documentation
• Minimum 1 year of onsite interpreting in a legal/courts setting
• Two professional references to confirm status

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite consecutive or simultaneous interpretation between courts and LEP speakers
• Maintain professional demeanor and accurate interpretation of concepts
• Ensure clear enunciation and correct tone between English and native language
• Follow speakers' directions and manage conversation flow with discretion
