Job summary

Prisma International, Inc. in New Hampshire seeks experienced Court Interpreters to join its independent contractor team.

You will provide interpretation services for NH Judicial Branch across onsite, video remote (VRI), and over-the-phone (OPI) formats, traveling to court locations within NH when needed. Languages include Spanish plus Arabic, Chinese, French, Haitian Creole, Nepali, Portuguese, Swahili, and Vietnamese.

Qualifications

• Completed training aligned with the National Center for State Courts (NCSC) model curriculum in Interpretation Techniques, Legal Terminology and Interpreter Ethics.
• Proficiency in English and the target language via approved assessment.
• Annual criminal history background checks required.

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person and remote interpretation (VRI/OPI) for NH Judicial Branch.
• Travel to NH court locations as needed.
• Maintain professional ethics and accuracy in interpretation.
• Facilitate clear communication between LEP speakers and court staff.
