Montgomery County Community College is hiring a Course Scheduling Specialist to manage scheduling for Credit, Non-Credit, and Dual Enrollment programs. You will build course sections in Ellucian Colleague, validate entries with CROA analytics, and input classroom assignments in Astra Schedule.
The role requires strong communication, organizational and analytical skills, with experience in scheduling software and data reporting.
Montgomery County Community College invites applications for the Course Scheduling Specialist position. Reporting to the Associate Director of Records and Registration, the Course Scheduling Specialist performs a variety of routine tasks related to the production of the College’s schedule for Credit, Non-Credit, and Dual Enrollment offerings. This includes building course sections in Ellucian Colleague Student Information System and validating course section entry using CROA Reporting and Operating Analytics tool. This position also uses Astra Schedule to enter classroom assignments, maintain scheduling preference sets and room attribute information for classroom optimization, and runs reports for data requests, as needed.
This position has been approved for a flexible work option arrangement. Flexible work options can be ended at any time by the College, Cabinet, and/or supervisors based on employee performance and/or as institutional needs change.
