Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, is seeking full-time Flex Houseparents (a married couple) to live on campus and care for a group of 8-13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and support to foster academic, emotional, and social development.

The role includes managing household routines, driving to activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, budgeting, reporting, and ensuring student wellness, with a schedule of nine days on duty followed by three off, and

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Couples married for at least two years.
• Both spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning development/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel attendance.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
