Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks dedicated couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living on campus and caring for groups of 8–13 students. This unique role blends home life with mentorship, supervision, and education-focused support to foster academic, emotional, and social growth.

The nine-days-on / three-days-off schedule begins on duty, with potential progression to a placed Houseparent living with the same student group.

Qualifikationen

• This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Experience working or volunteering with youth is preferred.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol while on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism while serving as role models.

Aufgaben

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to a group of 8–13 students.
• Manage household routines, student schedules, and budgeting/reporting.
• Administer medications and supervise student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
