Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA is seeking married couples to join as Full-time Flex Houseparents in a unique, life-changing role. You will reside in on-campus student homes and provide care, guidance, supervision, and support for a group of 8–13 students, fostering a structured, family-like environment conducive to academic, emotional, and social growth.

Initial duties include daily supervision, routines, medications, and coordinating activities; later you may transition to a Placed

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for legally married couples (min 2 years).
• Both spouses age 27 or older.
• Must have valid U.S. driverds license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus.
• No more than three dependent children in the home.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
