Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks Full-time Flex Houseparents. This two-person role houses and cares for groups of 8-13 students in on-campus homes, ensuring a structured, family-like environment that fosters academic, emotional, and social development.

Responsibilities include supervision, scheduling, medication administration, and transportation to activities. The position begins with a nine-on, three-off schedule, with transition to a consistent student home.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-spouse couple residency with at least two years married.
• Age 27 years or older for both spouses.
• Valid U.S. driver License and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and monitor student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in developmentally-focused activities.
• Lead daily devotions and attend Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
