Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA, seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living in on-campus student homes and guiding a group of about 8-13 students. Flex Houseparents promote a structured, family-like environment to support academic, emotional, and social growth.

Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring, managing routines, meds, transportation, and chapels. Nine days on, three off; potential transition to a placed role with comprehensive benefits and

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-year married couple minimum requirement.
• Spouses aged 27 or older.
• No more than three dependent children in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental and recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and accompanying students to Sunday Chapel.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
