Job summary

Milton Hershey School on-campus is seeking full-time Flex Houseparents to live in student homes and care for a group of 8–13 students. The role supports structured, family-like environments fostering academic, emotional, and social growth, with both spouses involved in daily supervision and programming.

Qualified couples must be married at least two years, both aged 27+, and able to drive student vans. High school diploma or GED required; lifting up to 50 lbs and a commitment to a smoke-free

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person couple must be married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student vans.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and engage in development and recreation.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany students to Sunday Chapel.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
