Job summary

Milton Hershey School on-campus couples are hired as Full-time Flex Houseparents to care for groups of 8-13 students in on-campus homes. The role involves daily supervision, mentorship, managing routines, and supporting academic and social development in a family-like setting.

The two-person team must be legally married for at least two years, with both spouses aged 27+, and a high school diploma or GED. Driving, lifting up to 50 lbs, and compliance with campus rules are required.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth.
• Two-person role for couples married at least two years.
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older.
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid U.S. driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Manage household routines and student schedules.
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness.
• Drive students to activities and plan developmental/recreational events.
• Lead daily devotions and accompany Sunday Chapel services.
• Oversee budgeting and household reporting.
