Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. in Glendale, AZ seeks a responsible, motivated couple to manage a moving and storage center. One partner may handle the rental facility while the other serves as Assistant Manager, with two hands-on interviews and a $100 hiring bonus.

As a Storage Center General Manager, you’ll keep the center profitable, hire staff, manage inventory, and solve day-to-day challenges in a fast-paced environment. On-site apartment available.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of management experience in retail or another service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction
• Able to work weekends and holidays
• Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a good driving record
• High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Perform profit and loss analyses.
• Hire and mentor new team members.
• Track and itemize inventory.
• Manage the fleet to deliver clean and well-maintained equipment.
• Manage the personnel budget.
• Ensure that customers receive the highest quality of care.
• Keep track of fuel receipts and petty cash.
• Clean and monitor premises, and maintain a secure environment.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U‑Haul education through U‑Haul University.
