Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. in Aubrey, TX seeks a responsible, motivated couple to manage a moving and storage center. One partner runs the rental facility while the other may work as Assistant Manager, with an on-site apartment provided.

Core duties include profitability analysis, staff hiring and mentoring, inventory control, and ensuring top-quality customer service. This is a fast-paced, rewarding role with on-the-job training and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of management experience in retail or another service industry with responsibility for financial results and customer satisfaction.
• Organizational expertise.
• Management proficiency in high-volume retail with profit and loss (P&L) accountability.
• Valid driver's license and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Able to work weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform profit/loss analyses.
• Hire and mentor new team members.
• Track and itemize inventory.
• Manage the fleet to deliver clean and well-maintained equipment.
• Manage the personnel budget.
• Ensure that customers receive the highest quality of care.
• Keep track of fuel receipts and petty cash.
• Clean and monitor premises, and maintain a secure environment.
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University.
