Job summary

U-Haul International, Inc. is seeking a responsible General Manager to run a moving and storage center. You will hire staff, manage inventory, supervise equipment, and ensure profitability while delivering excellent customer service.

Ideal candidates have 1–3 years of retail/service management with P&L accountability, strong organization, and a valid driver's license. Weekend and holiday work may be required; comprehensive benefits and career growth are provided.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1–3 years of management experience in retail or service with financial responsibility.
• Strong organizational and budgeting skills.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Manage fleet to deliver clean and well-maintained equipment.
• Perform profit/loss analyses and drive center profitability.
• Hire and mentor new team members.
• Manage the personnel budget and staffing levels.
• Track and itemize inventory and ensure accuracy.
• Provide customers with high level of care and service.
• Monitor fuel receipts and petty cash.
• Maintain clean, safe, and secure premises.
• Participate in ongoing U-Haul University education.
