Job summary

Milton Hershey School in Hershey, PA seeks married couples to serve as Full-time Flex Houseparents, living in on-campus student homes and supervising a group of 8–13 students.

Responsibilities include supervision, routines, devotions, driving to activities, budgeting, and reporting. Qualified couples must be married for at least two years, both 27+, and willing to commit to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus; training provided.

Qualifications

• Experience working or volunteering with youth is required.
• Couples must be legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be at least 27 years old.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and drive student vans if certified.

Responsibilities

• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules.
• Administering medications and ensuring student wellness.
• Driving students to activities and planning developmental/recreational activities.
• Leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel activities.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
